Facility Use Policy and Fees

Revised 11-13-24

Policy
The primary use of Trinity Lutheran Church facilities is for Trinity’s ministry and as meeting space for non-profit community organizations. When available, our facilities may also serve the needs of others within the guidelines listed in this policy and as long as the use is not determined to be in conflict with Trinity’s ministry and mission.
Space and current capacity
  • Conference Room (12-15)
  • Christian Life Center Classrooms (20-40)
  • Youth Room (50-60)
  • Fellowship Hall (up to 150)
  • Christian Life Center (up to 300)
  • Trinity Commons (up to 300)
  • Sanctuary (up to 600)
Event Coordinator
Depending on the size and scope of your event, you may be required to have an Event Coordinator present.
Kitchen Access
With the exception of making coffee/filling water dispensers, kitchen access is only made available to professional caterers and those with express permission of the Administrator/Rostered Staff.
alcohol
Trinity does not allow alcohol to be served at private events.
Funeral Precedent
Although we schedule our funerals around previously scheduled events, please be aware that on occasion we may need to modify your arrangements on short notice.
Weddings
Please refer to the separate Trinity Wedding Policy.
decorating
All decorations must be freestanding (ie: on easels or tied and not affixed to walls and windows with glue, staples, tape etc.). No glitter!
Request Procedures
Applications are reviewed weekly at staff meetings and are generally answered within ten days. If a request is not clearly covered by this policy, it is submitted to the Administrator/Senior Pastor or the Church Council for consideration.
Fees
Please note, these fees are deliberately set lower than many other facilities in our community to reflect our expectation that you will leave our facility as you find it. The mandatory Custodial Fee covers garbage removal, restroom cleaning, etc. It does not cover moving, set up or take down of furniture.

PLEASE NOTE – the Trinity Commons is a central thoroughfare that may possibly be used by others for access. If you wish to reserve exclusive use of the commons, you will need to reserve all spaces in the building.

NON-PROFIT COMMUNITY GROUPS– Certain fees are generally waived for all Non-Profit Community Groups.

Pre-Payment
Fees must be paid at least one week prior to the event.
Pre-event site visits
First-time users are encouraged to arrange for a pre-event site visit within one week of their event to discuss facility access, set-up and clean-up responsibilities.
