HIGHLIGHTS

Trinity Lutheran Preschool is the oldest established preschool in the Fargo/Moorhead Area. It has been in existence since 1969. Trinity Preschool serves children between 16 months and 4th grade and are grouped according to licensing standards of the Department of Human Services. The groups are separated and do not exceed group size. The adult to child ratio for toddlers is 1:5; preschool 1:10; and school-age 1:15. Trinity Preschool admits students of any race, color, and national or ethnic origin. It is open from 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., Monday -Friday, year-round.

The children are encouraged to develop a sense of independence, self-direction, and self-concept. They will be supervised at all times and guided through activities designed to develop self-confidence and competency, and personal responsibility in many areas. All the activities are developmentally appropriate and non-biased. These include, but are not limited to: listening, story telling, drama, finger play, language experiences, music, cooking and art. The children will have a variety of toys available which develop fine motor skills. Sometimes the children will also take part in age-appropriate outings such as swimming in the summer. Christian Education is included in our curriculum through Bible Stories, songs and finger-play, Thursday Chapel, celebrating Christmas and Easter, and the blessing at meals.
