HIGHLIGHTS

If I am transferring membership from an ELCA congregation somewhere else, do I need to contact them? 
We will take care of requesting the transfer after you have filled out paperwork at one of the orientation meetings. We recommend as a courtesy that you contact your congregation to make them aware that you have moved from the area if you have not already done so.
 
Can I become a member of Trinity and still be a member of another ELCA congregation? 
Sometimes people choose to remain associate members of their former ELCA congregation when becoming members of Trinity. If you wish to do this, please contact that congregation to inform them of your wishes.
 
Does Trinity send out reminders of upcoming New Member Weeks? 
Yes we do! We keep a database of people who have indicated interest in becoming members of Trinity through speaking to pastors, staff, members - however we come across the information. We do our best to contact everyone interested in membership and reminders are sent out about one week before the orientations. If you are unsure if you are on our database, please contact Pastor Matt at matt@trinitymhd.org.
 
Can my child(ren) be in Sunday School or Confirmation if I/we have not yet become members of Trinity?
Yes. If you wish to register your children for Sunday School or Confirmation, please contact sandra-at-trinitymhd.org for Sunday School or marcia-at-trinitymhd.org for Confirmation.
