Favorite Thing about Trinity: How the Trinity folks live out their faith in the community—with their family and friends, at their work, and in their service to others.
Words of Wisdom: "For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord."   - Romans 8:38-39

Favorite thing about Trinity: I quickly noticed that even though this is a large congregation, it has a small congregation feel to it. People are more than eager to pray for others and to help where they can.
Word of Wisom: The community of saints is here to uphold and walk with you in this journey of life.

Word of Wisom: God’s ministry is carried out by all of us! Theology is simply finding WIGIAT (Where is God in All This), because God is always present in our midst, we just do not always notice.

Pastor Alexis Twito

alexis@trinitymhd.org

Hometown: Milwaukee, Wisconson
College: Augsburg College - Minneapolis, MN;
Fundación José Ortega y Gasset J - Toledo, Spain; Lutheran Theological Seminary - Philadelphia, PA
Areas of Study: BA in Religion and English (undergrad); Masters of Divinity - Urban Ministry Concentration

Favorite thing about Trinity: Trinity not only lets, but requires me to be active in the community, getting to know all sorts of people: homeless folks, coaches, baristas, teachers, folks in need, among many others.
Words of Wisdom: I personally believe that “you must be the change you wish to see in the world” (Gandhi), that “when words are both true and kind they can change our world” (Buddha), and that we should love “not just with words or tongue but with action and truth” (1 John 3:18) because “God is love” (1 John 4:8) and “first loved us” (1 John 4:18).
