Parish Nurse ministry opportunities
Opportunities in Parish Nurse ministry include visiting members, counseling on health-related issues, assisting members to obtain needed health services, helping them to understand the relationship between body, mind and spirit, promoting health and wellness education and screenings or assisting with support groups. Parish Nurses do not provide home healthcare nursing. Parish Nurses usually volunteer in areas that match their interests.
